How do you celebrate a franchisee’s 10th anniversary?

Checkers was built on the belief that fast food could be done better. The challenge was focused on how do you take that dedication to being better and celebrate a long-time franchisee alongside the community that particular location serves?
THE SOLUTION
This particular Buffalo, NY-based franchisee was celebrating 10 years by giving back to the Buffalo community with specials and donating part of the proceeds to FeedMoreWNY. In addition, this single location hosted the Buffalo Wing Festival Wing Bobbing Qualifier Round as a creative segment opportunity for local media.
Our team leveraged the anniversary celebration and the qualifier round to create a hyper-localized media list to increase organic coverage. Through our work and in combination with the dedication of the franchisee and the store’s team, we sold more than 2,000 wings in one day. In addition, the store was trending above 15% and all stores in the market were up around double digits the first few days after the anniversary public relations efforts managed by our team.
