TXB celebrates Texas educators with gifts and supplies,
visits 48 elementary, middle and high schools
SPICEWOOD, Texas (December 8, 2025) — TXB, a family of customer service-oriented convenience stores with cook-to-order food operations, celebrates teachers across Texas through its annual gifting program. To show their appreciation to educators, TXB donated more than $75,000 in gifts and supplies to teachers at 48 local schools across Texas this year. These donations came in the form of everything from financial support for local sports teams to bags of school supplies during back-to-school season. It’s a reflection of the company’s year-round commitment to being pillars of the communities they serve.
“Showing our appreciation for teachers across Texas is one of the many things we do to give back,” said Sherry Dean, Director of Philanthropy at TXB. “Whether it’s supporting employees, giving back to deserving organizations, or simply making someone’s day a little brighter, TXB is rooted in the communities we serve.”
Dean should know. She’s the 30-year employee who also oversees the company’s long-running philanthropic partnership with CASA, which provides court-assisted support for children in the welfare system. For three decades, TXB has hosted fundraiser events, including a popular fishing and golf tournament in North Texas, that have helped them cross the $1 million threshold in CASA donations alone.
TXB’s commitment to Leave ‘Em Better goes far beyond donating and supporting communities across Texas. TXB strives to live by authenticity, hospitality, and integrity every day by making a difference in fellow Texans’ lives.
The school donation aims to celebrate teachers’ work in making a lasting difference in Texans lives, a mission that TXB connects with as they stive each day to live by their philosophy to make a positive impact and “Leave ‘Em Better.”
“We all know that teachers and students need as much support as they can get, so we try to go out of our way to make them feel special,” Dean said. She said the company takes requests for funding from PTA groups, coaches, and teachers of every grade throughout the year. Dean said that if you know of a project that needs extra support, you can send a message at txbstores.com/contact-us/. “There are so many great organizations out there. We try to support as many as we can, but we’re always looking for good-hearted folks doing good-hearted thing.”
