ecoATM Announces Three Strategic Executive Hires to Accelerate  Product Innovation and Next-Phase Growth

SAN DIEGO (December 16, 2025) — ecoATM, the leading recommerce company transforming how consumers give new life to used electronics, announced three key executive additions to its leadership team: Amit Gaur as Chief Digital & Technology Officer, Ali Sadiq as Chief Financial Officer, and Akshay Singhal as Senior Vice President of Product. These strategic hires mark the beginning of an ambitious growth phase driven by product innovation, digital excellence, and operational strength.

“As we look toward the future, we believe the biggest opportunity lies in solving problems consumers don’t even realize they have — namely, how to extract value out of their used smartphones and recycle them responsibly,” said Matt Furlong, CEO of ecoATM. “with Amit, Ali, and Akshay joining us, we are able to expand our leadership, vision, and expertise to scale fast, rethink the user experience, and deliver meaningful solutions at scale.”

ecoATM has long been at the intersection of sustainability, convenience, and circular commerce — giving consumers a simple, fair way to turn old phones into cash, while diverting e-waste from landfills.

With this new leadership team:

  • ecoATM will accelerate digitization — improving kiosk software, back-end systems, and user experience.
  • ecoATM will scale responsibly — with financial discipline to support growth without sacrificing stability.
  • ecoATM will innovate — building new products, services, and pathways for used-technology reuse, resale, and recycling.

“We’re entering a pivotal moment for ecoATM,” continued Furlong. “We are not just responding to consumer demand — we’re anticipating it. With the right leadership now in place, we have the opportunity to redefine how people think about their old tech. This is the start of ecoATM’s next chapter.”

About the New Leaders at ecoATM

Amit Gaur – Chief Digital & Technology Officer
Amit brings deep experience in e-commerce, omni-channel retail technology, and digital transformation. In previous roles, he played a pivotal part in scaling fast-growing e-commerce businesses, leading cross-functional teams, and building robust, scalable architectures. At ecoATM, Amit will steer the company’s technology roadmap — from kiosk software and backend infrastructure to digital user journeys — ensuring the company remains the easiest and most secure way for consumers to get paid for recycling. His leadership will be crucial as ecoATM builds the technical foundation for the next generation of device acquisition, refurbishment, and resale.

Ali Sadiq – Chief Financial Officer
Ali is a seasoned finance executive with strong credentials in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and strategic finance operations. He brings a track record of disciplined financial management, operational rigor, and strategic vision. In his new role, Ali will oversee ecoATM’s financial strategy, capital allocation, and long-term planning — helping to support aggressive growth while ensuring financial health and sustainability.

Akshay Singhal – Senior Vice President, Product
Akshay is an entrepreneurial product leader with broad experience across B2C, B2B, marketplaces, and supply-chain platforms. In his previous role at ecoATM/Gazelle, Akshay developed deep insights into the company’s kiosks, digital journeys, pricing and operational processes. In his new role, he will apply his unique combination of industry expertise and firsthand knowledge to strengthen the company’s product foundation and position ecoATM for growth.
