Learning Undefeated Creates Pathways for Students that Build STEM Identity and Confidence throughout 2025
Nonprofit organization brought hands-on STEM education to students nationwide, championing education throughout the U.S.
For more than 20 years, Learning Undefeated has delivered hands-on, experiential STEM education to more than two million K-12 students nationwide, and 2025 was one of the most impactful years in the nonprofit’s history. The nonprofit has propelled more than 200,000 students towards STEM careers in 2025 alone, bringing the organization’s lifetime reach to more than 2 million students nationwide.
“Each year, Learning Undefeated has built on our momentum by engaging students and enabling teacher confidence in STEM, and we’re closing 2025 having reached a record-breaking number of schools and students this year,” said Brian Gaines, Chief Executive Officer at Learning Undefeated. “Looking ahead, strategic program expansions and new partnerships will allow our team to scale our reach and serve significantly more students nationwide in 2026.”
From 360-degree video trips around the solar system to exploring advanced topics in synthetic biology and genetic engineering, Learning Undefeated aims to immerse students in life-changing STEM experiences, piquing their interests in STEM at a young age. Last year, Learning Undefeated opened its first-ever fabrication shop in Dallas, a three-bay space dedicated to designing and building Learning Undefeated’s cutting-edge mobile STEM labs.
In the past year, Learning Undefeated added nine new mobile laboratories to its traveling fleet and expanded in the Lone Star State by bringing mobile STEM labs to 270 Texas schools throughout the school year, thanks to a $7 million partnership with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), the statewide organization that supports the state’s public school system. In September, the nonprofit hosted a ribbon cutting event at the Texas State Capitol and seven school locations across the state to celebrate the launch of eight new Texas Mobile STEM lab vehicles for Texas public schools. These Texas labs are custom-outfitted STEM learning spaces offering engaging, hands-on STEM experiences for students and teachers.
Learning Undefeated plans to develop young leaders in STEM across the country, visiting over 350 schools in 17 states this school year.
