Sanctuary Hosts “Under the Same Sky” Event, Raises Critical Funds for Domestic Violence Survivors

Rock and Roll Trailblazer Lucinda Williams and Friends Raise Funds for Domestic Violence Awareness

AUSTIN, Texas  (Oct. 23, 2025) — On Nov. 3, 2025, Sanctuary PBC, a mission-driven public benefit corporation that aids in placing domestic violence survivors into immediate emergency housing, will host their “Under the Same Sky” event to allow domestic violence survivors to come together for a night of community, performances, and presentations.

This event will feature numerous activities to raise funds for Sanctuary’s “House A Million Fund” — providing domestic violence survivors access to Sanctuary’s housing resource network, rental assistance, utility deposits, moving fees, etc. The Sanctuary app supplies immediate access to housing and the corporation is developing a continuum of care that will allow it to pay for resources for domestic violence survivors to get them reestablished into their own housing.

Lucinda Williams, an American singer-songwriter known for her raw, emotional songwriting that blends rock, country, folk, and blues, will perform at the event, along with performances by Courtney Santana, Jennifer Foster and the Audacity, and Parker Woodland’s Erin Walter and Andrew Solin. Additionally, an auction featuring Gibson donated guitars custom wrapped by The Graphic Guitar Guys and vacation packages will take place.

Through this night of togetherness, Sanctuary hopes to secure more than $250,000 in donations to provide housing stability grants to survivors for permanent housing costs, including rental assistance, deposits, and moving costs.

“As a domestic violence survivor myself, I have seen firsthand the way that raising critical funds for survivors can save thousands of lives,” said Courtney Santana, Founder of Sanctuary. “Through our Under the Same Sky event, we hope to foster a sense of community and shared empowerment for domestic violence survivors to come together in support of one another.”

Tickets can be purchased HERE. Unable to attend? Consider donating to Sanctuary’s House A Million Fund HERE to assist in providing housing for over 250 families affected by domestic violence per year.
